From the moment you arrive at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, we help you prepare for life after College.
Our aim is to support you to become as independent as possible. This is so that you are confident in taking your next steps – something called transition.
Transition is all about planning for your future, and is an important part of your College life.
Throughout your time at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, you will develop the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to prepare for adulthood, including:
- Vocational learning through your chosen pathway or programme
- Independent living skills.
- Work placements on campus at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and also in the local community
- CV writing and employability skills
- Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance
Many students go on to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
Our aim is for you to reach a stage where you are able to live as independently as possible – whatever that looks like for you.
You may also choose to progress to a Supported Internship at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
